Revealed in the New York Daily News , the Naked fragrance will launch only in the US (surprising as her original Truth or Dare scent, which reminded us all of Fracas the fragrance, has done so well over here), and is named after her 1991 documentary. But it's the accompanying images reminding us of Madonna's naked ambition that are causing a stir.

We hate to keep singling out Madonna, and not because it makes us feel bad, but because that is exactly what she wants us to do. Why does it just feel like naked ambition when Madonna does it? Why not manufacture an effective way to execute your feminine agenda that doesn’t involve nipples and butt cracks? This contradiction isn’t clever — it’s just aggravating, and needs to go away.
